TAST Weeks 40, 41, 42

Catching up with the TASTs for Weeks 40, 41 and 42. The Beaded Hedebo Edge, the Knotted Loop and the Italian Knotted Border Stitch.

I combined them all into a small sample. They were stitched on the seam where I added a piece of fabric to my sampler. I really wish I had time to be more creative.

I had a lot of trouble with the Knotted Loop. I just couldn't get it at first. But, I got some good coaching from Jeanette of JennyPennyPoppy. Thanks, Jeanette! See her creative version of it.

Enjoy!

  1. It's good to have you back. How smart to do three stitches in the same area. I like the Italian Border stitch worked in two colours and angled into V-shapes.

  3. I thought the knotted loop stitch was a bit tricky too and it took me awhile to get it right. Your stitching looks great in combination especially.

  5. Hello Debbie I'm stopping over from Sew Many Ways, Friend Friday to see your beautiful handwork. Looking at your stitches and wondering what is TAST? And is this a sampler of stitches you are making? I love that you are adding bead embellishments to your stitches. I'm your newest follower, I'd love if you would come over and follow me too!
