Whew, that was a long break! Let's begin again.
One of the things that I've been busy with this summer is a copyediting/proofreading course. I did the informal test yesterday and next week is the optional review lesson, so the pressure is off.
In keeping with that theme...
...first, I have to share this. We were up north for a few days last week and went to check out the brand new mall in Akko with the grandkids. It had been open for a day and a half already and we were the first ones to point out this 'typo' to the people in this store! Don't you just love it!
And, just to keep this fiber related, here's a photo update on that blanket I've been knitting. I do have some quilty type things to show. That will come eventually.
BTW, for those of you who use blogger, I wrote this post in the new interface. Had no trouble at all, but didn't notice anything too different about it, except for the layout. So, unless something goes wrong that I didn't notice, I guess I'll keep it.
Enjoy!
Debbie
I had no idea there was a new mall in Akko! I'll have to check it out. Also, I've been hesitating updating Blogger because sometimes they fix things that weren't broken to begin with. But if you say it's easy I'll give it a try!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to see another post and to hear from you. I also was unsure about using an updated version of the blogger. I'm not sure if I'll do it.
ReplyDeleteFondly, Etty
It's so funny you see a spelling blunder like that. I'm looking forward to seeing what you're quilting.
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny typo!
ReplyDeleteLove your blanket!
I never took a course in that, although I worked as a proofreader for a time - not, however, in books [where I wanted to], but with a check-printing company. I'd still love to do it. Too funny about that sign...
ReplyDeleteYour blanket is so pretty! Glad to hear you like the new interface, I haven't tried it yet.
I like your new project...your header is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI have been using the new interface for a couple weeks. The only thing I can see wrong with it is that you can't set your comments to "pop up window" which is the fix everyone needs to do so people can leave comments easily. On yours Blogger does not recognize me as a Google account so I have to type in all of my info instead of it being automatic. If you go back to the old interface you can change that under settings/comments/pop up window/save.
ReplyDeleteAnd it took me three tries before the comment would go through.......
ReplyDeletehahah. that typo is pretty funny. Whoops. Funny what our brains just skip over.
ReplyDeleteas the blanket gets bigger it looks better!
