TAST Week 37

Back on schedule with the TAST, here is this week's, the Pistil stitch. I love French knots (Week 16), so how can I not love the pistil stitch. I actually don't remember ever having used it before and it was fun and interesting to do. It is one of the stitches that Laura Wasilowski uses a lot and she has a video on how she does it. Here is one of Laura's posts where she shows it and here's another one.

My next post will be about the winner of the giveaway on my previous post. Sometime later today. So, if you're interested, you can still enter. There are very few entries, so the odds are very good!

  1. I've never heard of a pistil stitch but I like the look of it!
I'll have to have a go!

  2. I've never heard of this stitch either but I sure do like it!

  3. Lovely colours, I like this sampler!

  4. What a lovely row of stitches that is, great idea to make a field of flowers. :-)

  5. I take my hat off to you - you make the most simple stitch look so stunning!

  6. Such a nice cute row of colourful pistils stitches :)

  7. Thank you to Annet, Kathy, Claudia, Lakshmi, Hanna and Jeannette (the no-reply bloggers that I can't reply to directly) for all your lovely comments. I'm working on a short version of the stitch of week 38!

  8. Hi Debbie! You're so talented! These little pistils look like little people dancing in harmony.

Thank you for your interest in my Eclectic Ornaments gift certificate giveaway! It's actually not my shop. I'm just a girl with a style blog that is giving the $30 shopping credit away on behalf of Eclectic Ornaments.

Regarding your trouble with the Facebook link, here is the link to like Eclectic Ornaments:

Once you've liked it, go back to the rafflecopter giveaway on my blog and try to see if it's working again. If it's not, just leave your Facebook name and your e-mail address in a comment anyway.

    Thank you!

    1. Hi again! So sorry this happened to you. It didn't happen with anyone else (at least not that I know of!). Thank you for your interest and your persistence in trying to figure it out!

    2. Also thanks for letting me know that I'm a no-reply blogger! I didn't know that was even possible. I wonder if these comments are even showing up, since I'm replying to myself.

I love getting comments and like to reply to the people who take the time to comment. If you are a no-reply blogger, which means that your email address is not set up in your profile, or you don't have a profile, please leave it in the text of your comment. Thanks!
